Wendy April Lehmann, age 47, of Fergus Falls, MN, passed away at her home on March 26, 2011.
Wendy was born on April 23, 1963, in Minneapolis, MN. Her parents were Daniel Gumphrey and Barbara Lien. She spent her childhood in California before moving to Minnesota where she lived the remainder of her life. Wendy graduated in Pelican Rapids, MN, and went on to complete two years of college. She was blessed with four children. Wendy has resided in Fergus Falls for the past 14 years with her husband Dean Brekke. She was employed with West Central Turkeys in Pelican Rapids, for over 10 years before becoming a stay-at-home Mom.
Wendy enjoyed fishing, scrap booking, reading, music, baking and outdoor activities and was a loyal Twins and Vikings fan at heart. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and always had a smile on her face.
Surviving Wendy is her loving husband, Dean Brekke; her daughters, Tina (Bill) Smith, Tami (Shad) Hanson and Torri (Layne) Beiningen; her son, Cody Lehmann; her mother, Barbara Lien; one brother, Stacy Gumphrey; one sister, Krista (Tim) Hoffman; nine grandchildren, Jocylen, Daniel, Christian, Austin, Jesse, Hunter, Emma, Zayli Jo and Zayla Rae.
Preceding Wendy in death are her father, Daniel Gumphrey; one brother, Greg Gumphrey and all of her grandparents.
