Violet L. Dertinger, age 92 of Perham, MN passed away Wednesday, August 05, 2015 in Perham Living. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 6:00 p.m. at Schoeneberger Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Monday, August 10 beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Perham. Father Matthew Kuhn will officiate. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
Violet was born on May 23, 1923, the daughter of Isabella Simonson in Fargo, ND. On May 1, 1944, Violet was united in marriage to Alfred Dertinger at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Perham. She worked at Perry's Floral for many years and was also a homemaker. Some of her interests included playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving Violet is her son, Rick of Perham; and her brother, Bud in Maple Valley, WA.
Preceding Violet in death were her parents; her husband, Alfred in 2008; her son, Michael in 1961; her son, David in 2001; her great-granddaughter, Katelyn; and her sister, Irene.
