Victor Rehborg

Victor C. Rehborg, age 91 of Dent, MN passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 in the Minnesota Veterans Home, Fergus Falls, MN. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9 beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Schoeneberger Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Dent, MN.
Victor Cornelius Rehborg was born November 24, 1923, the son of William and Ella (Beccue) in Gwinner, ND. Victor graduated from Gwinner High School in 1942. Victor served his country from 1943-1946. He was united in marriage to Frances Krumholz on June 23, 1946 in Shanghai, China. Together they moved to the farm near Dent, MN in 1946 and to Vergas, MN 60 years later in 2006. Besides farming, Victor worked as a rural mail carrier out of Dent for 18 ½ years.
Surviving Victor is his wife, Frances of Fergus Falls, MN; his two sons, Eli (Beate) Rehborg of Frazee, MN and John (Ginny) Rehborg of Vergas, MN; his two daughters, Viki (Daryl) Matthew of Fergus Falls, MN and Elaine (Dave) Bauer of Madison, VA; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Rehborg of New York Mills, MN; five grandchildren, Jeanna Heath, Becky (Garrett) McCollough, Greg (Samantha) Bauer, BJ (Kim) Rehborg and Gene (Samantha) Rehborg; five great-grandchildren, Morgan Saro, Cameron McCollough, Claire McCollough, Shelby Rehborg and Rachel Rehborg; and sisters-in-law.
Preceding Victor in death were his parents; his sons, William Rehborg and Frank Rehborg; his brothers, Gerald, Walter and Delbert; his infant sister, Celeste Rehborg; and his brother-in-law, Arthur Kirby.
