Todd Lane Pulford, the “Mayor of Walker Lake”, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022, while overlooking his beloved lake. He was 64. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom; and sisters-in-law, Julie Pulford and Sandy Licence.
Todd was born July 20, 1958, to Thomas Edward and Doris Mae (Hardie) Pulford. After graduating from Perham in 1976, he married his high school sweetheart. He managed a lumber yard for many years then started Pulford Building Services and built and remodeled many homes in this area. Todd had a deep love for hunting and fishing that was contagious to anyone who joined him at deer camp, in the duck blind, or on the fishing boat.
Todd’s relationships, profession, and hobbies all came together on Walker Lake, where he fulfilled his vision to live and die. We are all better for the time and love he poured into our community.
