Funeral services for Stephanie Kay Kaminski, age 49, of Perham, MN, will be Friday, August 13, 2004, beginning at 2:00 p.m., at the Northwoods Assembly, Perham, with Pastor Dirk Currier officiating. Visitation at Schoeneberger Funeral Home in Perham is from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 12, 2004, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., as well as one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Stephanie died August 9, 2004 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Stephanie was born May 17, 1955, to James and Helen (Geyen) Dale, in Minneapolis, MN. She grew up and attended school in Brooklyn Center, MN, graduating from Park Center in 1973. Stephanie was married Michael Kaminski in 1978. She was a housewife and loving mother. Stephanie worked at various jobs including Bauck Bussing and Service Food, in Perham. In addition, she started college in 1995. Stephanie attended college at Fergus Falls Community College, Fergus Falls, MN and Minnesota State College, Moorhead, MN, and graduated in 2000. She then started teaching special education in 2001 at Underwood School. Stephanie enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and, especially, her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, teaching, home projects and laughing.
Surviving Stephanie is her loving husband of twenty-six years, Michael, of Perham, MN; her children, Jacob Kaminski, of Minneapolis, MN, Corinne Kaminski, of Fargo, MN, Rachel (Kurt) Pearson, of Little Falls, MN, and Sarah Kaminski, of Detroit Lakes, MN; three grandchildren; her father and mother, James and Helen Dale, of Clearlake, MN; her siblings, Michael (Heather) Dale, of East Bethel, MN, Debra Haines, of Plymouth, MN, Diana (Douglas) Bellmore, of Becker, MN and Sue Nord, of Chanhassen, MN, and numerous nieces and nephews.
