Shirley Fay Potthoff, age 63, of Richville, MN, died at her home on Monday, November 6, 2006, after a hard fought battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 9, 2006, at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, MN, at 2:00 pm with Father Holmes officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Shirley Dennis was born at her parents' home on January 3, 1943, the daughter of G. Estill and Louisa (Abrams) Dennis. She was raised and worked in the Middletown, OH, area until June 26, 1992, when she married Arthur G. Potthoff and moved to Minnesota.
Shirley is survived by her very loving husband, Art, Richville, MN; her loving sister, Carol (John) Etter, Middletown, OH; brother, Charles Estill (Deb) Dennis, Middletown, OH; son, William (Sue) Colwell, Middletown, OH; daughter, Lisa (Terri) Colwell, Mason, OH; stepchildren, Doug (Kelli) Potthoff; Kris (Steve) Longhenry; and Becky (Tim) Potthoff; all of the Twin Cities area, MN; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many beloved friends.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents.
