Robert L. "Bob" Williams, age 75, of Perham, MN, died peacefully on Saturday, March 17, 2007, at MeritCare, Fargo, ND. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 23, at 1:00 pm at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, MN, with Father Joe Herzing officiating. Burial will take place in St. Henry's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Bob was born February 12, 1932 in Clarissa, MN, the son of Chelsey and Victoria (Kiselewski) Williams. He was united in marriage to Mary "Betty" Allmaras on May 16, 1958. Bob honorably served with the US Army and was a member of the American Legion; playing Legion Band in Fargo, ND. He retired from Hiram Walker where he was employed as a regional sales manager. Bob was a great storyteller and always had a joke or story to share. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing in his spare time but is remembered as an extremely devoted husband and father who will be dearly missed.
Bob is survived by his wife, Betty, Perham, MN; three children, Linda Mudge, Fort Wayne, IN; Pam (Bruce) Lindblad, Detroit Lakes, MN; and step son, Jim Allmaras, Hurricane, UT; a brother, Richard (Iris) Williams, Cambridge, MN; six step grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Preceding Bob in death are his parents; a step son, Larry; a son in law, Stephen Mudge; and a brother, William.
