Robert A. Schoen, age 81, of Perham, MN, formerly New Ulm, MN, died Monday, April 30, 2007, at the Elder's Home, New York Mills. A private family service will be held at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham. Burial will take place in the Lakewood Mausoleum, Lakewood, MN.
Robert was born March 21, 1926, in LaCrosse, WI, the son of Joseph and Helen (Molsna) Schoen. He was employed at 3M in New Ulm, MN, as a truck driver until he retired and moved to Perham, MN, in 2005. Robert was united in marriage to Donna Kumferman on November 11, 1946, and together had two daughters. Donna passed away in 2001.
Robert is survived by daughters, Joei Harty and Roberta (Rick) Miller; a sister, Helen Sword; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Preceding Robert in death are his parents; wife, Donna; sister, Lucille Waite; and a grandson, Justin Harty.
