Robert Luedtke, Sr

Memorial services for Robert T. Luedtke, Sr., age 79, of Richville, MN, will be at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, MN, Monday, March 1, 2004, at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Richard Kloeter officiating. There will be a time for gathering for family and friends one hour prior to the service. Robert died at his home, Thursday, February 26, 2004.
Born at Young America, MN, November 9, 1924, Robert was the son of Robert and Emma (ZumBerg ) Luedtke. He graduated from Central High School in Norwood, MN. Robert worked for Northwest Airlines prior to entering the U.S. Army Air Corps and serving his country in North Africa and Italy. Upon his honorable discharge, Robert went to work for the Minnesota Game and Fish Department. On August 12, 1948, he married Delores Moltzan at St. John's Lutheran Church in Dora Township, rural Dent, MN. In 1961, Robert moved his family to Richville, MN. He was employed at Midland and Land O' Lakes until his retirement. Robert loved to fish and hunt and was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving Robert is his wife, Delores, of Richville, MN; five sons, William (Faye), of Fergus Falls, MN, Robert Jr., of Vergas, MN, Richard, of Richville, MN, James, of Ottertail, MN, and Michael, of Richville, MN; granddaughters, Julie (Dallas) Slevin, of Frazee, MN and Jennifer (Scott) Ulschmid, of Frazee, MN; great-grandson, Alex Ulschmid and one brother, Mark Luedtke, of Estacada, Oregon.
