Norman D. Rosenow, age 74, of Perham, MN, died Friday, June 22, 2007, at the Perham Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Perham, with Reverend Del Stohs officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Frazee, MN. Visitation will be Monday, June 25, at Schoeneberger Funeral Home from 4:00 - 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm and one hour prior to services at the church.
Norman was born June 30, 1932, in Erie Township, Becker County, MN, the son of Alfred and Ida (Loebrick) Rosenow. He graduated high school from Frazee, MN, in 1950, and went on to serve in the US Navy from 1952-56, attaining the rank of Petty Officer Third Class. After his discharge from the US Navy, Norman met and married Jeanette McLaughlin at St. Henry's Parish on September 19, 1959. He was employed with the MN Department of Transportation as a maintenance worker for 30 years until his retirement in 1994. Norman enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all sports in general. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Perham.
Norman is survived by his wife, Jeanette, Perham, MN; son, James (Mary) Rosenow, Shoreview, MN; daughter, Lynn (Joe) Johnson, Perham, MN; four grandchildren, Patrick and Kaitlin Johnson, Perham, MN; and Kristina and Olivia Rosenow, Shoreview, MN; two sisters, Gladys (Doug) Rudolph, Perham, MN; and LaVonne Schultz, Frazee, MN.
