Michael J. Oleson, age 81 of Perham, MN died Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in Lakewood Health System, Staples, MN.

Mike was born December 4, 1940 in Iowa City, IA and was adopted at three months of age by Albert and Hannah (Moe) Oleson.

Mike loved hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He thoroughly enjoyed guiding fishing trips and the friends he made while owning and operating Ole’s Guide Service.

Surviving Mike is his wife of 51 years, Cheryl; children Christine Oleson of TX and Mitchell (Rachelle Larson) of Brooklyn Center, MN; his grandchildren Thomas Canfield, Joshua (Angie) Morrow, Adam (Rachel) Morrow, Katie Jane Rowland, Julian Oleson, and Elijah Oleson; and his great-grandchildren Emma and Jameison Morrow.

Preceding Mike in death were his parents.
