Mary Maxine Myrtle Hansen, age 86, of Dent, MN, died Monday, December 19, 2005 at the Perham Memorial Home, Perham, MN. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2005, 2:00 pm, at Schoeneberger Funeral Home Perham, MN with Reverend Tom Mitchell officiating. Internment to be at the Richville Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Mary was born October 10, 1919 in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Robert and Julia (Burggraf) Wilkinson. She attended secretarial school in Wisconsin and later received her LPN in West Plains, Missouri. Mary was a nurse at the Texas County Hospital in Houston, Missouri for four years. She was married to Glenn Hansen on May 21, 1941. She moved to Perham in 1978 and Mary was a nurse at the Perham Memorial Hospital and Home. She loved to embroider, crochet and watching the birds.
Mary is survived by one son, Jim (Carol) Hansen, Dent, MN; two daughters, Julia (Rex) Brizendine, Hot Springs, AR; and Jean Kirby, Dent, MN; eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Glenn, June 16, 1977.
