Marianne Van Watermulen

Marianne (Damlo) Van Watermulen, age 64, passed away peacefully August 20, 2023 with her family by her side.

Marianne Marie Damlo was born April 24, 1959, in Perham, MN to Clarence and Kathy (Bahls) Damlo. She had four brothers: Leslie, Steven, Ralph, and Gregory. Marianne grew up on her family farm in Frazee, MN. She graduated from Frazee High School in 1977. Shortly after graduation she was united in marriage to Allen Van Watermulen and moved to rural Perham. There they had three children: Amy, Eric, and Randy. Marianne enjoyed gardening, camping, campfires, fishing, and hunting. She also had a love of cooking and baking for family and friends. One of her favorite pastimes was birdwatching, especially hummingbirds.

Marianne is survived by her husband of 45 years Allen, her children Amy (Tyson) Aho, Eric (Lisa) Van Watermulen, and Randy (Hollie) Van Watermulen, special grandchildren Bailey, Alexis, Andrew, Bristol, and Kash. Marianne is also survived by her brothers Leslie Damlo, Steven (Susan) Damlo, Ralph (Lisa) Damlo, and Gregory (Mary) Damlo along with their children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Kathy and her sister-in-law Sue Damlo.

Gathering of family and friends to be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at Schoeneberger Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Perham.
