Lois Louise Wegner, age 73, of Perham, MN, died Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at Perham Memorial Hospital from diabetes complications. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2007, at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Perham, with Reverend Del Stohs officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 26, at Schoeneberger Funeral Home from 4:00 - 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm and one hour prior to services at the church.
Lois was born May 3, 1933, in New Ulm, MN, the daughter of Henry and Hulda (Grussendorf) Oberlander. They moved to Owatonna, MN, where she grew up and graduated from Owatonna High School. She then attended the Minnesota School of Business. On May 15, 1955, she married Kenneth H. Wegner and they resided in the Faribault, MN, area until 1979 when they purchased Ken's Resort on Rush Lake, just south of Perham. Later they moved to Perham where they owned and operated Kenlow Krafts and Perham Weavers. They resided in Perham until Lois' death.
Lois is survived by her husband, Kenneth, Perham, MN; daughter, Cynthia Wegner, Perham, MN; two sons, Peter (Netta) Wegner, Faribault, MN; and Steven (Vicki) Wegner, Lonsdale, MN; two grandchildren, Tracy and Benjamin Wegner, both of Faribault, MN; a brother, Don (Jean) Oberlander, Janesville, WI; sister-in-law, Mrs. Duane (Marlys) Wegner, Owatonna, MN; brother and sister-in-law, Orville (Evonne) Wegner, Faribault, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
Lois is preceded in death by her parents, and a son, David Robert.
