Leroy Brown

Leroy Brown, age 70, of Richville, MN died Friday, April 4, 2025 in Perham Health. Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by the memorial service at 1:00 on Friday, April 11 at Schoeneberger Funeral & Cremation Service in Perham, MN. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery near Richville.

Leroy Allan Brown was born in Perham on July 2, 1954, the son of Carlos and Deloris (Hunter) Brown. He graduated from Perham High School in 1973. Leroy enjoyed trapping, hunting ducks, deer, and racoons, fishing, and smelting. Leroy loved the outdoors. He also farmed and milked cows by hand. Leroy and his mom would often get in the car and go with no real destination in mind, they just enjoyed the drive. He liked visiting Branson, MO and also taking trips to Texas to visit his aunt. Leroy always had time for his nieces and nephews; he treated them as his own.

Surviving Leroy are his brothers Levi (Debra), Warren (Tonie), and Wayne; his sister Gail (Jon) Morton; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Leroy in death were his parents; his sister-in-law Charlotte Brown; and nephews Timothy Hauge and Christopher Brown.
