Lawrence P. Nelson, formerly of Perham, died May 28, 2007, in Princeton MN, at the age of 82. A memorial service was held on June 1, 2007, at the Elim Home, Milaca, MN. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 11, 2007, at 2:00 pm in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Perham, MN. The family would welcome any of Larry's friends who wish to attend.
Larry was born on May 19, 1925, in Little Falls, MN. He served in the US Navy during World War II and settled in the Twin Cities after the war. Larry and his wife Hilda moved to the Perham area in the late 1980's.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Terry Nelson, Minneapolis MN; nephew, Bill (Diane) Mason, Princeton, MN; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Hilda; brother, Nels (Harold); and sisters, Alice Mason, Irene Tapper, Elsa Shipman, Svea Larsen, Ruth Perkins, Ellen Nelson, and Helga Nelson.
