LaVerne Dale

LaVerne Martha Dale, age 84, of Perham, MN, died on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at the Perham Memorial Home, Perham. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 6, 2006, at 3:00 pm at the United Methodist Church, Perham, with Reverend Roger Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Perham Village Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 5, at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm and one hour prior to services at the church.



LaVerne was born October 1, 1921, in Corliss Township, rural Perham, MN, the daughter of Herbert and Martha (Schmidt) Romann. She was united in marriage to Norman Dale on August 2, 1947, in Wadena, MN. LaVerne was a member of the Perham United Methodist Church for over 50 years and a member of the Legion Auxiliary for over 50 years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, embroidery work, and baking. She also enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.



LaVerne is survived by her husband, Norman, Perham, MN; daughters, Deanna (Ron) Rosen, Morris, MN; Norleen Braukmann, New York Mills, MN; and Cheryl (Tim) Olson, Detroit Lakes, MN; a brother, Lowell (Geraldine) Romann, Annandale, MN; sisters-in-law, Darlene Zosel, New York Mills, MN; and Margie Dale, Malta, MT; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.



LaVerne is preceded in death by her parents; and a son-in-law, Denis Braukmann.
