Kenneth L. Riepe, 69, of Perham, MN, died July 21, 2011, at the Perham Memorial Hospital.
Ken was born on March 16, 1942, to John and Pauline (Winkels) Riepe, in Perham, MN. He was a very familiar face to the community of Perham. After graduating from Perham High School, Ken joined the US Army. Following his honorable discharge in 1969, he returned to Perham where he did janitorial work and odd jobs for local businesses. In his later years, Ken enjoyed the Senior Citizens gatherings of card playing and Bingo. His favorite hobbies were watching the MN Twins and Vikings games but, most of all, Ken enjoyed fixing puzzles.
Surviving Ken are eight siblings, Richard, of Cleveland, TN, Joseph (Clara), of Perham, MN, Art (Ginger), of Fargo, ND, Don, of Perham, MN, Jim (Peggy), of Perham, MN, Marilyn Plummer, of Las Vegas, NV, Robert, of Perham, MN, and Karen E. Johnson (Richard), of Dent, MN.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline Riepe.
