Joyce Guck

Joyce Marie (Fehrenbach) Guck was born on June 3, 1939 to Joseph and Frances (Bellon) Fehrenbach in Jamestown, ND. The family moved to a farm in Rush Lake Township where Joyce grew up, attending country school and graduating high school in 1957. On December 27, 1958 Joyce was united in marriage to Herb Guck. Together they continued to work and raise their family in Rush Lake Township. Joyce was an active 4-H leader and very active in the St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Under the care of her family and Red River Valley Hospice, Joyce passed away at home on Thursday, September 24, 2015. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 8:00 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, rural Perham. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, September 30 beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Father George Michael will officiate. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
Surviving Joyce is her husband, Herb; her children, Jeffry (Patty) of Perham, Kevin (Chris) of Ridgeway, CO, Kristen (Charles) Haugen of Rothsay, MN, Richard (Francine) of Perham, Mary (Ron) Palubicki of Perham, Joe (Amy) of Perham, Melissa (Greg) Keil of Perham, Loren (Donna) of Perham and Terri (Jim) Ramsey of Audubon, MN; her 28 grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; her brother, Joe; her sister-in-law, Cheryl; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Preceding Joyce in death were her parents; and her brother, James.
Sadly, Joyce's brother, Ron passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015.
Joyce will be greatly missed and was loved by many.
