April 17, 1961 — December 11, 2024

Frazee

Jolene Lubitz, age 63 of rural Frazee, MN, died Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at her home with loved ones by her side and under the care of Vivian Hospice.

She was born on April 17, 1961 in Fergus Falls, MN the daughter of Larry Ott and Carolyn Friedrich.

Jolene loved her church Northwoods Assembly of God, and loved her church family. Due to her health issues, her involvement was limited with the church the past couple of years.

Jolene's faith got her through many troubling times in her life, and the love she had for her church family is a reflection of the woman she was. She was always willing to help anyone in need.

Jolene loved spending time with her best friend, who was her late husband, Kevin, whether it was fishing or just relaxing at their home. Jolene worked many jobs in her life to support her children. She treasured and cherished the memories she made with each and everyone of her friends, and made a lasting impression on anybody who knew her. She loved her children, adored her grandchildren and watching them grow. Jolene's family, faith, and friends were the utmost importance to her.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Hariluk of Frazee and Carrie (Jessica) Bowman of Great Falls, MT; sons, Jake Hariluk of Perham, and Justin (Dawn) Ott of Fargo, ND; father, Larry Ott; grandchildren, Mason Koel, Logan Hariluk, Emma Hariluk, Cameron Ott, and Ariel Hariluk; stepchildren, Stacy (Russ) Brown of Lee's Summit, MO, Damien (Leah) Lubitz of Moorhead, MN, Amanda (Chad Kornkven) of Fargo, and Ginny Lubitz of New England, ND; step grandchildren, Veda Brown, Raylan Lubitz, and Mira Opp-Lubitz; brother, Jason(Mindy) Ott; sisters-in-law, Kari Ott of Underwood, MN and Dawn Ott of Elizabeth, MN; and aunties, Donna Umlauf and Sandie Jochim of Mounds View, MN; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
