James McFadzen

James “Jim” C. McFadzen, age 76, of Perham, MN, died Sunday, November 29, 2009, at the Golden Living Center, Battle Lake, MN.



Jim was born March 3, 1933 , in Mallard, IA, the son of Charles and Ruth (Crook) McFadzen. He grew up and graduated from Plover, IA. Jim attended Agriculture College in Mason City , IA , then enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. James farmed in the Plover area until 1968 when he moved to New York Mills, MN, and farmed until 1977. After farming, he worked at Tuffy’s in Perham until his retirement.



James is survived by his sister, Janet of Waterloo, IA; children, Kellie Christi of St. Cloud, MN; Kimberly Wallace of Gilmore City, IA; David McFadzen of Andover, MN; Tammi McFadzen of Sidney, MT; Matthew McFadzen of Perham, MN; and Mark McFadzen of MT; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.



Preceding James in death are his parents; and sister, Marilyn; and our mother Liz McFadzen.
