James Embola

James Edwin Embola, age 49, of Perham, MN, formerly of Annandale, MN, returned to the arms of his heavenly father on Sunday, January 15, 2006 at the Perham Memorial Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Memorial services will be Saturday, January 21, 2006 beginning at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Perham, MN with Reverend Terry Grzybowski officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, January 20, at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, from 4 - 8:00 pm.



Jim was born September 19, 1956 in Crystal, MN, the son of Duane and Coralee (Johnson) Embola. He loved the outdoors spending much time hunting and fishing but had a real passion for pool. Jim was an avid pool player joining many leagues and competing in tournaments. His love for the game is where he met the love of his life. Jim married Linda Johnson Altmann on July 2, 2005. He loved his stepchildren and the love he shared with them will live in our hearts for eternity.



James is survived by his loving wife of 6 months, Linda, Perham, MN; mother, Coralee Embola, Annandale, MN; sister, Lori (James) Alman, Annandale, MN; three stepchildren, Isaac Altmann, Mankato, MN; Sarah Altmann, Moorhead, MN; and Hannah Altmann, Moorhead, MN; niece, Stephanie (Graham) Lief, Longmont, CO; nephews, Jeremy Alman, South Haven, MN; and Douglas Alman, Annandale, MN; aunt, Carol Gandy, Longmont, CO; and many cousins and friends who will all sadly miss him but know that someday we will meet again.



James is preceded in death by his father, Duane.
