Helen Magdalene (Klein) Adams, age 92, lifelong resident of Marion Lake, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at the Perham Memorial Nursing Home.
Helen was born
Helen’s greatest joys were her family and faith, followed closely by her flowers. Many of her family and friends enjoyed the fruits of her labor. She was an avid bird-watcher with many feeders in her yard. Her home was an open invitation – a cup of coffee and a smile to anyone who came to her door. She loved fishing and was an active guardian of the lake. She was very active in the church and taught religious classes at Sacred Heart in Dent for many years.
After the death of her husband, Wayne, in 1972, she continued operating the farm. She was employed as a cook at the Lantern’s Supper Club and then the
Helen is survived by her seven children, Jan (Noel) Schroeder, Sioux Falls, SD; David (Dorothy) Adams, Richville, MN; Joan (Randy) Hutmacher, Ottertail, MN; Sue (Norm) Cessna, Lander, WY; Steve (Marlys) Adams, Fergus Falls, MN; Diane (Doug Schroeder) Krumwiede, Ottertail, MN; and Lois Adams, Mora, MN. Helen is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom were her precious jewels. She was an avid fan and cheerleader for their events.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne; brothers, Walt Klein Jr., Albert, and Pete; one sister, Rosemary Harrison; granddaughter, Mary Adams; and son-in-law, David Krumwiede.
