Heidi J. Renowski

Heidi Jo Renowski, age 53 of Perham, MN and formerly of Walker, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at her home.

Heidi was born August 28, 1969 in Bemidji, MN to Eugene “Gene” and Marlys (Johnson) Troyna. She spent most of her life in the Walker area where she attended and graduated high school.

On September 14, 1990, Heidi was united in marriage to Kenneth Renowski in Walker.

Heidi spent her time working for her father’s bait shop, Centennial National Bank (now Bank Forward) and as a professional home cleaner. She enjoyed being involved in her children and grandchildren’s activities such as Girl Scout trips; the Hockey Association where she helped with meat raffles and concessions; and also attended many dance recitals, sporting events and music programs.

Other activities that Heidi enjoyed was gardening, shopping trips, reading People magazine, going on walks, solving crossword puzzles and was involved with Relay for Life.

Heidi will be remembered as “Nana” to her grandkids and her family will cherish the trips they took together to see motocross races, camping at Stoney Point, road-tripping to Louisiana,  4^th of July celebrations in Walker, and to see the Twins play.

Surviving Heidi are her husband, Ken; children, Ashley Troyna, Brandon (Breanna) Renowski, and Ciarra (Justin) Aldrich; grandchildren, Kaylee, Sophie, Ava, Toby, Heath, Beau, Ashton, Valerie, and Noah; her mother, Marlys Fohlin; siblings, Nana (Kory) Nelson, Steve (Cindy) Troyna, Josh (Amanda) Troyna and LeighAnn Troyna. She is preceded in death by her father, Eugene “Gene” Troyna; stepfather, Daryl Fohlin; grandparents, Dorothy “Bonehead” and Mervin Johnson; and nephews, Alex Nelson and Gabriel Kvasnicka.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Schoeneberger Funeral and Cremation Service of Perham. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
