Halarian Schultz

Halarian Roy Schultz, age 86, of Frazee, MN, died Monday, December 31, 2018 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Halarian was born June 10, 1932 in Perham, MN to Fred and Minnie (Balzer) Schultz.  He attended Gorman Township School.  After graduation, he farmed with his dad until he joined the Army in 1954.  When Halarian returned from the service in 1956 he continued helping his dad on the farm and did odd jobs for neighbors and friends.  On May 7, 1966, he married Elsie Wegscheid and was blessed with five children.

Halarian is survived by his wife Elsie; his five children Lucy (Greg) Huderle, of Grand Forks, ND, Lana (Wade) Schultz-Julin of Bemidji, MN, Harlan (Bonnie) Schultz of New York Mills, MN, Erick Schultz of Perham and Ericka (Jake) Kaminski of White Bear Lake, MN; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Minnie Schultz.
