Gary Wayne Lien, age 51, of Richville, MN, died Thursday, March 29, 2007, at his home. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 2, at 11:00 am at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, MN, with Pastor Rod Tornquist officiating. Burial will take place in the Richville Village Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, April 1, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schoeneberger Funeral Home.
Gary was born April 28, 1955, in Perham, MN, the son of Carl "Bud" Jr. and Arlys (Brown) Lien. He attended Perham High School graduating in 1973. After graduation he started working with the Soo Line Railroad for eight years and then spent his time cutting wood for a living. Gary loved spending time outdoors, fishing, playing cribbage, and loved spending time with his family; especially his nieces and nephews.
Surviving Gary are his brother, Randy (Lisa) Lien; sisters, Sheila (Arvin) Widness; Bonnie (Don) Stoering; Shelby Stoll; and Tammy (Jack) Hofmann; and many nieces and nephews.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents.
