Frances ?Fran? Pearce, age 94, of Perham, MN, died Monday, May 2, 2005 at the Perham Memorial Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Friday, May 6, 2005 at 11:00 am at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Perham. Father Bernauer will officiate with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, May 5, 2005 at Schoeneberger Funeral Home in Perham from 4-8 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm.
Fran was the daughter of William and Laurie (Bullock) Smith, born November 23, 1910 in Dead Lake Township. She graduated from Perham High School in 1931. On November 24, 1937 she married Frank Pearce of Perham. Fran worked as a clerk for many years. She was a member of the Rosary Alter Christian Mothers, St. Mary?s Aid, St. Mary?s Mission Circle and the VFW Auxilary. Frank died on March 25, 2000.
Frances is survived by a son, Edward, Coon Rapids, MN; a daughter, Bev (Don) Felknor, Remer, MN; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a brother, Hugh Smith; Richville, MN; and two sisters, Beverly (Roy) Kangas, Richville, MN and Shirley (Ray) Stahl, Duluth, MN.
