Everett Arthur Briard was born December 8, 1997 at Perham Memorial Hospital. He was baptized into Christ December 25, 1997 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Audubon, confirmed May 6, 2012 at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Ottertail, and was carried home to Christ, April 26, 2019.
Everett is survived by his two sons Brekken and Blaine Briard; his grandparents Robert and Virginia Briard of Frazee and Stan and Lois Myllykangas of Wolf Lake; his parents Forrest and Wendy Briard of Frazee; and his siblings Katherine (Adam) Jesnowski and Adaline of Barrett, Daniel (Sophie) Briard and Henry of Tioga, ND, Caleb (Kristi) Briard and Samuel of Mahnomen, Emma (fiancé Nathan Richards) of Barrett, and Jacob, Lance, Helen, Ethan, and Aaron Briard of Frazee. Everett lived north of Perham and was currently working at home on the family dairy farm. After graduation, he worked in the oil fields, which he loved. Everett loved to work, hunt, fish and spend time with his family. But what he longed for most was the precious time he spent with his two boys. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be 9:00-11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 2 at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Ottertail. Pastor Karl Weber will officiate. Burial will be in Gorman Lutheran Cemetery near Perham.
