Elizabeth "Betty" Cook, age 91, of Everett, WA, formerly of Perham, MN, died Monday, April 30, 2007, at Providence Medical Hospital, Everett, WA. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 5, 2007, at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Perham, with Reverend Del Stohs officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Bettty was born May 29, 1915, in Viscount, Saskatchewan, Canada, the daughter of George and Julianne (Nei Matteis) Vogel. On September 2, 1933, she was united in marriage to Wilbur Cook in St. Paul, MN. They were together sixty six years until Wilbur's death in 2000. Betty loved to spend time in northern Minnesota fishing and cooking her catch over an open fire.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Donna Draper, Everett, WA; three grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one sister, Lydia Cook, Minneapolis, MN.
Preceding Betty in death are her parents; husband, Wilbur; two brothers; and two sisters.
