Edith Mary (Vogel) Wegscheid, 56, of Perham, MN, died at her sister-in-lawA�A�A½s home, in Perham, Monday, July 18, 2011, under the care of her sister-in-law and Lakeland Hospice and Home Care, Inc.
Edith was born on November 26, 1954 to Clifford and Agnes Vogel. She graduated in 1973 from Perham High School. On May 10, 1975, Edith was united in marriage to Owen Wegscheid at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Perham. The couple moved to the home place in 1989.
Edith worked at Medallion Kitchens, Fergus Falls, MN; Jenni-O Turkey Plant, Pelican Rapids, MN; Kennys Candy and Barrel O Fun Snack Foods, Perham; Lund Boats, New York Mills, MN and East Silent Resort, Dent, MN. Among her hobbies, Edith enjoyed garage sales and riding motorcycles. She enjoyed helping other people and, most importantly, spending time with her grandkids.
Surviving Edith is her husband, Owen Wegscheid, Perham, MN; three children, Tanya (Mark) Schlosser, Perham, MN, Juanita Wegscheid, New York Mills, MN and Alan (Chas) Wegscheid, Perham, MN; 12 grandchildren; 12 brothers and sisters; mother-in-law, Lorene Wegscheid, Perham, MN. Preceding Edith in death are her parents; two brothers, Vernon and Bernard Vogel; one sister, Lucy Vogel; father-in-law, Leonard Wegscheid and one brother-in-law, Ormund Wegscheid.
