Donna Hemmelgarn

Donna Mae Hemmelgarn, 52, of Litchfield, MN, formerly of Perham, MN, died on Friday, September 30, 2005, at Delano Health Center in Litchfield. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at 11:00 am at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Perham. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Visitation at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, on Monday, October 3, 2005, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, as well as one hour prior at the church.



Donna was born on September 3, 1953 the daughter of Elmer and Alma (Werner) Hemmelgarn. She was born and raised in Perham where she attended school and graduated in 1971. She worked at Tuffy?s Dog Food for 21 years (1973-94) after which she moved to Casselton to be closer to her family. In 1995 she moved to Litchfield, MN, where she made her home with her fiancAsh Cliff Avelsgard.



Donna is survived by her fiancAsh, Cliff, Litchfield, MN; stepchildren, Lynn, Tammy and family, Brian and family and Gail; sisters, Barbara (Doug) Conger, Frazee, MN; Sandra (Rod) Cleveland, Valley City, ND; a brother, Michael (Michele) Hemmelgarn, Casselton, ND; mother in law, Leona Spencer, Menagha, MN; brothers in law, Roger (Linda) Avelsgard, Colonial Heights, VA; Russell (Karen) Avelsgard, Menagha, MN; five nieces, 3 nephews, a great niece, a great nephew, many aunts, uncles, cousins, a host of friends and her special friend, Brownie, her dog.



Donna was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Clem & Susan Hemmelgarn; Anthon Werner; Lila Werner Laskey; and a sister, Maryann.
