, the daughter of Alois and Annie (Walkowski) Sczygiel. She was the youngest of seven children.

attended District 158 School and graduated from
Perham
High School
in 1943. She was a very active member of the Catholic Daughters, Christian Mothers, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary,
Perham
Memorial
Hospital
and Home, and various other community organizations.

is survived by her husband, William,
Perham
,
MN
; daughter, Mary Jo Bahls; granddaughter, Jodi Jo (Ken) Satkunam; grandson, Joshua (Alisha) Bahls; great grandsons, Noah and Dylan Satkunam; great granddaughter, Elliana Bahls; stepdaughter, Victoria (
Wayne
) Zimmerman; stepson James Swanson; step grandchildren, Patrick and Caitlin Zimmerman; cousin, Catherine Walkowski; niece, LaVerne Talaska; and many other nieces and nephews.
Dee is preceded in death by her parents; a brothers, Edwin and Frank Sczygiel; half sisters, Monica Sazama, Regina Sazama, and Caroline Wall; and a half brother, John Dombeck.
