Delbert Nelson

Delbert W. Nelson, age 74, of Perham , MN , died Thursday, July 3, 2008 , at the Perham Memorial Home.


Delbert was born May 7, 1934 , in El Dorado , KS , the son of Arnie and Lillian (Conley) Nelson. He had a love for cars of all kinds, including sports cars, and owned quite a few of the old classics over the years. Delbert had owned a lakehome on the north shore of Little Pine Lake where he was able to satisfy his love of fishing. He was a good natured man with a great sense of humor. He loved dogs and was very proud to be a Veteran.



Delbert is survived by extended family, Dawn (Mark) Winter and their daughter, Erin; Julie Sanders; Todd Sandahl; Dennis Fritz; Lucky; and many dear friends at the Perham Memorial Hospital and Home.



Preceding Delbert in death are his parents; and a brother, Robert.
