Delas Ann Palubicki, age 87 of Perham, MN died May 7, 2019 at Emmanuel Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes, MN. Visitation will be 9:00-11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 on Monday, May 13 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Perham. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Perham.
Delas was born January 21, 1932 in Corliss Township, daughter of John and Frieda (Rosentreter) Lubitz. She was baptized on February 21, 1932 by Reverend Nickle at St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was also confirmed there in 1946.
She married Arthur Palubicki on November 26, 1951 in Perham. They lived a short time in Racine, WI before moving back to Perham where she lived the rest of her life. She sold Tupperware for 37 years and was well known as the Tupperware Lady. Delas loved both her inside and outside flowers and always kept a large vegetable garden. She loved quilting, making one for each child and grandchild. She truly cherished her time with her grandchildren.
Delas is survived by her five children Steven Palubicki, Jeff (Deb) Palubicki, Julie (Dennis) Skjonsby, Ronald (Mary) Palubicki, and Russell (Sandy) Palubicki; ten grandchildren Curt Palubicki, Mallory (Bill) Stoderl, Nic (Annie) Palubicki, Tony (Emily) Palubicki, Jordan (Lacey) Palubicki, Ashley (Brian) Schornack, Stephany Palubicki, Cody (Christa) Palubicki, Ben (Amanda) Palubicki and Tyler Palubicki; two step-grandchildren Nick (Sarah) and Jaran (Amanda) Skonsby; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters Violet (Albert) Huwe and Janet (William) Nibbe; and her nieces, nephews and other family members.
Preceding Delas in death were her parents; her husband Arthur in 2001; her daughter-in-law Tammy Palubicki; her brothers and sisters-in-law Margaret and Leonard Kremer, Clarence and Betty Palubicki, and Jerry and MaryAnn (Ramsey) Palubicki.
