Dale Wright, Sr

Dale D. Wright, Sr., age 95, Perham, MN, died May 28, 2005, at the Perham Memorial Home, Perham, MN. Funeral services will be held June 15, 2005 at 11:00 am at Perham Community Church with burial in Evergreen Memorial Park, Omaha, NE. Visitation will be held June 14, 2005 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, MN.
Dale was born October 28, 1909 in Berryville, AR, the son of Edward and Melissa Wright. He lived and farmed with his father in Springfield, MO in the early 1940's. Dale married June Bowie in Omaha, NE where he lived most of his life. He was retired from the Omaha Transit Company where for 30 years he was a street car and bus driver and never took one sick day during that time and never had an accident. His regular daily passengers could always count on him being at their stop right on schedule. While living in Omaha he was an active member of First Church of God where he sang in the choir.
Dale is survived by his two children, Dale (Donna) Wright, Perham, MN and Jeneane (Charlie) Denger, Wilmore, KY. Five grandchildren, Kristine (Joel) Moen, Perham, MN; Kathy Wright, Perham, MN; Wayne (Leah) Hall, Jr., Nicholasville, KY; Russell (Melodie) Hall, Wilmore, KY; Scott (Kristy) Hall, Loudenville, OH; eight great grandchildren, Kaila and David Venes, Perham, MN; Christian and Abbey Hall, Wilmore, KY; Caleb and Ben Hall, Loudenville, OH; Noah and Aaron Hall, Nicholasville, KY; three nieces and several grand nieces and grand nephews plus several step children, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife June, wives Lucille Crew and Izeyl, two sisters, one niece, one nephew and one grandson, David Douglas Wright, Perham, MN.
The family is grateful to the nurses and staff at the Perham Memorial Hospital and Home for their excellent, compassionate care during his years of residence with them.
