Cynthia "Cindy" Tommervik

Cynthia “Cindy” (Kincade) Tommervik passed away at the age of 58, on January 29, 2019, at her home in Perham, MN after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. followed by the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4 at Schoeneberger Funeral & Cremation Service in Perham. Pastor Cassie Anderson will officiate.

Cindy was born to Darrel and Darlene (Goraczkowski) Kincade on January 21, 1961 in Wadena, MN. She graduated from Wadena Senior High School in 1979.

Cindy was united in marriage with Richard “Rick” Tommervik on October 14, 1989 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Perham. They made their home in Perham where they raised their family. Cindy worked in Radio Sales in the Perham and Wadena areas for nearly 20 years and thoroughly cherished the relationships with her co-workers, clients and friends. In her free time, Cindy enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and spoiling her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Kathy “Kitty” (Kincade) Andrie.

She is survived by her husband Rick of Detroit Lakes; children Jamie (Jennifer) Tommervik of Dallas, TX and Jeremy “George” Tommervik (Sara) of Fargo, ND; three grandchildren Chloe Irene Tommervik (13), Madysen Nicole Tommervik (12), and Cannon Joe Tommervik (7); and two brothers and sisters.
