Craig Peterson

Craig Edward Peterson passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 at his home in Perham, MN.  Craig was born to Frances Burrows and Edward Peterson on June 26, 1953 in Wadena, MN.  Craig started his dream business; JC Electric and was determined to make it a success despite being advised that it was a poor business plan.  Through hard work and good friends, he was able to make his dream come true.

Craig married Luan Wacker in 1984 and they were later divorced.  They were blessed with two sons; Joshua & Christopher who were his world.  They will forever be grateful for the many life lessons that were taught & shared throughout their lives by their dad.

Craig was the most kind, generous, loving and honest man who would do anything for anyone and never expected anything in return.  Music was a major part of who Craig was.  From playing in bands with friends to playing his piano at home.

He loved spending time at Seclusion Point surrounded by loved ones.  Other activities he enjoyed included; hunting, fishing, snowmobile trips and the occasional late night gathering with friends at the shop.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents; Edward & Frances Peterson; Brother Kipp Peterson.  He is survived by sons; Josh (Kayla) Peterson and Chris (Saowanee) Peterson; Brothers Bob & Rollie Peterson; Sister Lee Ann (Leon) Berg; Grandchildren Serenity, Christopher, Mint & Lemon; Goddaughter Faith Kalina; Godson JT Laughlin; Uncle & Aunt Dave & Louise Burrows; Aunt Alyce Sartino & Rosella McCall.   Many nephews, nieces and cousins.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 2-6 p.m. at Craig's home, 313 9th St SW in Perham.

The family appreciates the friends & family who have reached out to them.  One of the many things that Craig instilled in his sons was; “You can never have too many friends.”  We are grateful.
