Cheryl Nowack

Cheryl Ann Nowack, age 68 of Dent, Minnesota, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on June 27, 2023.

She was born November 9, 1954 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Lyle and Deanna Nowack and grew up in North Branch, MN and graduated from North Branch Senior High in 1972. Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Cheryl had a passion for gardening and took great pride in her beautiful flower gardens. She found joy in warm weather and loved taking trips to the casino. Cheryl was also a talented crafter and enjoyed making cards for any occasion. Her creativity and thoughtfulness were evident in every card she made.

Cheryl is survived by her spouse of 45 years, Roger Swanson, and their children: Brenda Swanson (David) of Dent, MN, Brent Swanson (Nicole) of Bellfield, ND and Benita Marsh (Christopher) of Linwood, MN. She was a proud grandmother to Alex Swanson, Drew Ellingson, Callisa Swanson, Aiden, Ashton, and Amelia Marsh. She is also survived by her brother, Steven Nowack. Cheryl also leaves behind her cherished and faithful companion, her dog Penny.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her cherished children, Jeremy Nowack, Dustin Nowack, and Michelle Swanson.

At this time, no memorial services are planned. The family will take solace in their memories of Cheryl and the impact she had on their lives. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
