Charlotte Hazel Van Guilder, 88, of Perham, MN, formerly of Osakis, MN, and Mankato, MN, passed away peacefully, June 4, 2011, at the Perham Memorial Nursing Home.
Charlotte "Char" was born November 23, 1922, to Charlie and Esther Ferguson, in Grant Township, Iowa. She grew up in Iowa and then moved to Mankato, MN. There she met and married Earl W. Van Guilder on August 18, 1937. They lived in Mankato until Earl retired. They then moved to Osakis, MN. "Van" passed away in May of 2000. Char lived there until 2006 when she entered the Perham Memorial Home. Char enjoyed playing cards and visiting with friends.
Surviving Charlotte is survived by three sons, Ron (Ellie) Van Guilder, White Bear Lake, MN and Richard (Bonnie) Van Guilder, Richfield, MN and Mark (Jennifer) Wilmas, Mankato, MN; two daughters, Sharon Huggins, Fort Mohave, AZ and Susan Uhde, Perham, MN; sixteen grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding Charlotte in death is her husband, Van; son, Brad; daughter, Sandy; one grandchild; brothers and sisters.
