Cecilia Loerzel

Cecilia Clara (Ledermann) Loerzel, age89, of Perham, MN, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at Autumn Manor in Perham. Cecilia was born on June 22, 1922, in Perham, to Henry and Margaret (Lein) Ledermann. She attended school at St. Joseph's School in rural Perham. On October 23, 1944, Cecilia married Edward Loerzel at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, rural Perham. They farmed in rural Perham all of their lives. Cecilia moved to the Autumn Manor in February 2011. She was a long time member of St. Henry's Catholic Church, St. Henry's Christian Mothers and the Catholic Aid Society. Cecilia enjoyed gardening and flowers and spent many hours with an embroidery needle and hoop in her hands creating beautiful pillow cases, dresser scarves and dish towels.
Surviving Cecilia are three sons, James (Toni) Loerzel, Ronald (Sharon) Loerzel and Steve Loerzel, all of Perham; five grandchildren, Gregory (Maria) Loerzel, of Wilmar, MN, Rebecca Loerzel, of Maple Grove, MN, Daniel (Nichole) Loerzel, of Perham, MN, Joseph (Jessie) Loerzel, of Perham, MN and Jennifer (Brian) Rowan, of Sartell, MN; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Rosella (LeRoy) Huwe, of Ottertail, MN; two brothers, Hugo (Gloria) Ledermann, of Cold Spring, MN and Robert (Betty) Ledermann, of Fridley, MN.
Preceding Cecilia in death are her parents, Henry and Margaret Ledermann; husband, Edward, on Nov. 26, 2000; two sisters, JoAnn (John) Rice and Dorothy (James) Meyer and one brother, Jerome Ledermann.
