Calvin Lepp, age 82, from Perham, formerly Eden Prairie and St. Louis Park, MN, passed away peacefully at Perham Living on January 15, 2024, where he was lovingly cared for.
Born on January 5, 1942, son of Clifton and Doris (Mares) Lepp, at Minneapolis General. He weighed 1.75 pounds and was the smallest surviving infant. In 2017, HCMC held a 75th birthday celebration where he was the guest of honor.
Cal's family meant the world to him. Barb was the love of his life and they enjoyed over 24 years together. He loved being a Grandpa and attending the grandchildren's activities. He enjoyed activities at the Eden Prairie Senior Center as well as having a "Cal's Corner" at Tavern 4 & 5. Cal had worked for the Star Tribune and Eden Prairie Schools.
He is survived by his brother, Jeff (Diane); Barb's daughters, Sara (Brian) Kelley and Jennifer (Paul) Lorinser; grandchildren, Caroline and Jack Kelley, and Anna and Gavin Lorinser; niece, Sara (John) Soliz and nephew, Al (Alissa) Lepp; great niece and nephews, Kennedy, Jaxon, and Riley.
Preceded in death by parents, Clifton and Doris; step-mother Margaret; and life partner, Barbara Johnson.
Cal will be missed by all who knew him, but he is celebrating being reunited with Barb.
A Celebration of Cal's life will be held at Schoeneberger Funeral and Cremation Service in Perham, MN on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Timothy's Catholic Cemetery in Maple Lake, MN, at a later date.
