Buster Paul Meyer was born on
He spent his grade school years at Pine Lake Township District 248. The High School years were spent in
1995 also marked the year of his retirement, though it didn’t lead to any inactivity on his part. Much of his time after retirement was dedicated to volunteering. Buster offered to mow lawn for various cemeteries and was more than willing to assist his neighbors with farm work. He spent many an hour providing company for Great Aunt Emma. For more than thirty years, he was a member of various Church boards.
Buster was the kind of person that would place concern for others above the concern for himself. The fact that he was such an unselfish person shined through very brightly in both his actions and attitude. Family and community were both vital elements in Buster’s life. Spending time with those that he loved gave him much joy.
Buster was tremendously proud of his children and his grandchildren. One of his favorite ways to interact with his grandchildren was through time spent playing pool, board games, and card games. Other interests of his included: the Twins, the Vikings, bowling, feeding and watching birds, his 520 John Deere tractor, and fishing. Buster was also known to be an avid gardener and often gave his produce to friends and neighbors.
Buster is survived by his wife, Karen. Children: Darin (Michelle) -
Buster was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Ida Meyer, and two sisters, Adeline Merille and Ardelle Brezina.
The loss of such a great man is a true reason to grieve. He will be missed beyond what words can describe.
