Barbara Bieger

Barbara Ann (Denison) Bieger, 87, of Perham, MN died Saturday, December 17, 2022.

Barb was born March 25, 1935, in Hendricks, MN to William and Frances (Smith) Denison. She grew up on a farm near White, SD, along with nine brothers and sisters. She married Paul Bieger in 1964 and moved to Wichita, KS shortly after.

Paul and Barbara had three children before moving to Colorado in 1971. In 1985, the family settled in Perham and have been based there ever since. Barbara’s main focus was taking care of her family and following Jesus. She was involved with many ministry teams in Kansas, Colorado, and in Perham. She was a big fan of the Minnesota Twins and loved spending time reading, golfing, gardening, and being outdoors with her husband and family. Barbara will be remembered by many for her loving and caring spirit, her kindness, her sweet smile, and her potato salad.

Preceding Barb in death were her parents, and seven of her nine brothers and sisters.

Barb is survived by her husband, Paul Bieger; son, Troy (Pam) Bieger of Deltona, FL; daughter, Susan Lundby of Bloomington, MN; son, Ross (Tracy) Bieger, of Perham; grandchildren, Joshua, Jonah, Elijah, Ava, and Elsa; brother, Philip Denison; and her sister, Cathy Ward.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers. Gifts will be extended to ministries and organizations that were important to Barbara or as specified.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. followed by the Memorial Service at 2:00 on Monday, December 26 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Perham. Brownies and ice cream will be served following the service.
