Arthur Ziolkowski

Arthur Ziolkowski, age 79, of Perham, MN, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at the Perham Memorial Home, Perham. Funeral services will be Monday, March 20, 2006, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Perham, with Father Bernauer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, March 19, at Schoeneberger Funeral Home, Perham, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm and a prayer service at 7:00 pm.
Arthur was born December 13, 1926, the son of Peter and Annie (Guse) Ziolkowski. He married Rose Horner on November 19, 1948 at Sacred Heart Church in Dent, MN. Arthur was in the Army during WWII from 1946-1947. He also worked at the Fargo Foundry for many years. He was then employed at Tuffy's in Perham from July 31, 1974 until 1992 (18 years) when he retired. Arthur enjoyed fishing and hunting in his early years. He was a very special person.
Arthur is survived by two sons, Peter (Sharon) Ziolkowski, Perham, MN; and Arty (Cindy) Ziolkowski, Perham, MN; two grandchildren, Pam Holmes, Arlington, SD; and Jesse (Debbie) Ziolkowski, Wellington, CO; five great grandchildren, Rae Ann, Merissa, Ryley, Taylor and Ashley; two step grandchildren, Shawn and Justin; and many good friends including his special friend, Monique Rossow.
Arthur is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Rose, March 30, 1979.
