Alice P. Radunske

Alice Radunske, age 90, died Friday, January 6, 2023 in Fair Oaks Lodge, Wadena, MN. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Perham. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, New York Mills, MN.

Alice Pearl Radunske was born May 31, 1932, the daughter of Carl and Lisbeth (Gartner) Radunske. She was baptized in November of 1932 at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Corliss Twp. and confirmed May 9, 1948 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Perham. Alice’s faith was always very important to her as she would often be able to recite numerous bible verses from memory and knew many Christian hymns by heart. Her room at Fair Oaks Lodge held numerous bibles. Alice was a caregiver for most of her life, taking care of many friends and family members over the years. She will also be remembered for her puzzling. Alice loved puzzles. She even had a 2000-piece puzzle framed and on display at Fair Oaks Lodge.

Preceding Alice in death were her parents and her siblings Albert, Arthur and Bernard Radunske, Eleanor Rush, Gertrude Radajewski, and Elsie Brown-Amberg.

Surviving Alice is her niece Shirley (Gerald) Ohm of Dakota City, IA along with her other nieces and nephews.
